Luqa Primary Green School Travel action plan

All the students in Year 5 and 6 were given a talk by Ms Cynthia Caruana, EkoSkola Coordinator from Nature Trust – FEE Malta, regarding the advantages and disadvantages of e-bikes and road safety when riding a bike. They were also given a talk on electric vehicles by Ing Ronald Pullicino, Senior Manager (Projects, Innovation and International Affairs) at Transport Malta. Parents and residents of Luqa were also invited to learn more about the benefits of electic vehicles and the grants available. The St Ignatius Head of College Network, Dr Doreen Said Pace, the mayor of Luqa, Mr John Schembri and Ms Cynthia Fiteni (Manager – Sustainability and EU Affairs) on behalf of Transport Malta, were also present during the last part of the event.
