The Land Transport Directorate is introducing new online services which can be used at the client’s comfort without having to attend physically at our offices. Find below a list of the online services currently offerred and links from where these services can be accessed.

| Renewal of Annual Vehicle Circulation Licence | Users can renew their annual vehicle circulation licence (the licence disc). The licence will be posted either to the user’s registered address or another mailing address as indicated during the renewal process. Users can also check their vehicle’s next VRT date and other basic information. | |
| Reservation of personalized plates & Vehicle Valuations | Users can check the availability of a personalized plate (3 letters and 3 number – AAA001) and reserve a desired combination by paying €23.25. Users can also get an estimate of the registration value of an imported vehicle and the amount of tax payable. Terms and conditions apply as minimum tax may apply for M1 vehicles (cars). Vehicle valuations have to be confirmed upon physical inspection at TM Technical unit. | |
| Declaration of lost documents related to vehicles or driving (VEH39) | Users can submit an online declaration if they loose the vehicle registration certificate (logbook), vehicle circulation licence, driving licence, driver tag, number plate or any other document related to land transport. | |
| Request the registration value for a used motor vehicle (VEH14) | Users can request the registration value (rv) for a used motor vehicle (car or motorcycle) if such value is not available on the vehicle valuation online service. | |
| Apply for a Learner Permit | Users can apply for and obtain a learner permit to start taking driving lessons so that they may eventually obtain a driving licence. | |
| Apply for a Driving test | Users can apply for their practical driving test. | |
| Manage their applications for Learner Permits and/or Driving test | Users can check on the status of any pending application/s they may have and, if their Motoring School has not yet accepted them as their student, they may change their Motoring School. | |
| Check your Driving Licence | Users can check whether their Driving Licence renewal is due and download and print the required documentation. | |
| Renewal of Driving Licence | Users can renew their driving licence. | |
| Renewal of Driving Licence category | Users can renew a category within their driving licence. | |
| Apply for an International Driving Permit | Holders of a valid driving licence can apply for and obtain an internation driving permit to be used for driving in Non-EU countries. | |
| Check Penalty points | Users can check the number of Penalty points on their Driving Licence. | |
| Apply for a Grant for the Purchase of a New Electric Vehicle or Pedelec | Users can apply for a grant after purchasing a New Electric Vehicle or Pedelec (Terms and Conditions) |
