The Policy for communal and personalised reserved parking bays for blue badge holders is available here.  The Policy document describes the administrative procedure, the different eligibility criterias, the dimensions and design requirements for the parking bays.  It also lists the criteria to withdraw an approved reserved parking bay or keep clear bay.

Administrative Procedure

The procedure for Reserved Parking Bays/Personalised Reserved Parking Bays for Blue Badge Holders is managed and administered by the Traffic Managemen Division (TMD) within the Authority for Transport Malta.

Applications for Communal/Personalised Reserved Parking bays for Blue Badge Holders are to be sent by post to Transport Malta, Traffic Management Division, First Floor, Triq Pantar Lija, LJA 2021 or by email: bluebadgeholders.tm@transport.gov.mt for assessment;

TMD will consider applications for Communal/Personalised Reserved Parking bays for Blue Badge Holders as submitted by the applicant according to the Eligibility Criteria as stated in the Policy Document.


TMD decision to approve or not the area to be reserved for the Parking Bay is final.
