Registration of Boats Being Imported by Purchaser

• Importation Documents;
• Bill of Sale of boat and engine including the Make, Model, HIN, Serial No. and HP;
• Original Deletion Certificate (in cases where boat was previously registered on another register);
• Declaration of Conformity (if applicable);
• CE Certificate (if applicable);
• Photo of Hull Identification Number (HIN);
• Photo of Engine Serial Number;
• Photo of Builder’s Plate;
• Coloured photo of boat;
• Copy of ID Card / Passport of owner (for verification purposes only);
• Copy of ID Card / Passport of previously registered owner (for verification purposes only);
• A Certificate of Survey drawn up by a Government Appointed Surveyor; and
• A third party liability Insurance policy certificate valid for a year from date of initial registration (for small ships with engines exceeding 9.9 HP).
