What you need: Re-Registration (boat previously registered with the Small Ships Register)
Re-Registration (boat previously registered with the Small Ships Register)
Client may:
Case A: Re-register the small ship onto his/her name; or
Case B: Re-Register the small ship sold to third parties.
Documents to be submitted (Case A):
- Original Deletion Certificate;
- Coloured photo of boat;
- Photo of Hull Identification Number (HIN);
- Photo of Engine Serial Number/s;
- Photo of Builders Plate;
- A third party liability insurance policy certificate valid for a year from date of re-registration (applicable only for small ships with engines exceeding 9.9 HP);
- ID Card / Passport of owner (for verification purposes only);
- Survey Report (when applicable).
Documents to be submitted (Case B):
- Original Deletion Certificate;
- A written declaration / bill of sale from seller stating that small ship has been sold to purchaser (to be signed by both seller and purchaser respectively);
- Copy of ID Card / Passport of seller and purchaser (for verification purposes only);
- Coloured photo of boat;
- Photo of Hull Identification Number (HIN);
- Photo of Engine Serial Number;
- Photo of Builders Plate;
- Valid third party liability insurance certificate in the name of the buyer (for small ships with engines exceeding 9.9 HP); and
- Survey Report (when applicable).
