Part-66 Module Examinations

Part-66 Module Examinations have been suspended until further notice.

English Language Proficiency Test

In view of the current circumstances, the English Language Tests carried out by the Civil Aviation Directorate assessors will not be scheduled until further notice.

For those students who already paid for the test, the fee will remain on their account and they will be given a new date in April 2020. No new applications will be accepted until this notice is revoked.


Following the recent developments and based on the decisions taken by the government to preserve the health and safety of the general public on all fronts, the Civil Aviation Directorate has decided to cancel the PPL examinations that were planned for the month of April 2020. The Personnel Licensing Unit is monitoring closely the situation and will be deciding at a later stage if the examinations for the following months will be held or otherwise

Applications and required documentation are to be submitted together with payment, following which the applicant is notified of the scheduled slot for RT and/or ELP tests accordingly. The frequency of these tests depends on the availability of examiners and will be held at our premises at the Malta Transport Centre, Pantar Road, Lija.
