The Temporary Traffic Management Section within the Roads and Infrastructure Directorate is responsible for the control and the provision of safe traffic management plans for all vehicles and pedestrians during road works.
The purpose of temporary traffic management is to provide better traffic control for both drivers and pedestrians and a safer environment for workers on site as well as to the general public.
The Standard Temporary Traffic Management Plans (STMPs) illustrate the typical temporary traffic management schemes for different work environments which may be applicable to various roads within the network.
