Monitoring of Service

Transport Malta monitors different aspects of the service. This monitoring includes:

• Trips meeting scheduled times and not exceed maximum waiting times;
• Buses meeting the prescribed standards;
• Saftey standards being observed;
•   Buses are following agreed routes.

The Control Room

Transport Malta operates a Control Room whereby it monitors the bus operations in real time during the time of service operation.

Each bus is equipped with a tracking system which allows the Control Room to track the movements and position of every bus that is in service.
