The competent authority in Malta for Aviation Security is: Aviation Security Malta.

ORGANISATION:

The Office of the Manager Airport Security (OMAS) was set up on 1st April 1995, as the regulator for Aviation Security in Malta. The Head of Aviation Security, together with his assistants are designated by the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs for the overall management and control of aviation security.

This entity is now named Aviation Security Malta.
